1974 Mercury Comet

The 1974 Mercury Comet holds a significant place in automotive history. This compact car was produced by the American automaker, Mercury, from 1960 to 1977. The 1974 model year marked a transition period for the Comet, as it received a major redesign. The new design featured a more streamlined and contemporary look, with a front end resembling other Mercury models of that era. Ours started as an all original untouched car out of Memphis Tennessee. This vehicle was purchased through IAAI.com auction as all my vehicles are and was one of the very few clean title vehicles I've purchased. When we received it, it barely ran but did move under its own power. Later the break down begin that started the journey of where we are today.
